Text Philippians 3:7-14
To follow Christ is our heart must leave the earthly attachments and interests of the world and we put our eyes on God. Let's see what we do to follow Christ in this way.
Consider the earth as something of great value (v.7-8). Knowing Christ, experience in our lives is worth more than anything on earth, we must be willing to leave all that separates us from God. Earthly, if we turn away from God is a loss not a gain, it robs us of experiencing true happiness, so Paul thought manure.
depend on God and not our forces (v.9). Not a question of seeking to please God by our own forces, no one can do this, God We do not ask, the only way to approach Him is through faith in Christ, who poured on us His righteousness and perfect for him we
Joining Christ in His death (v.10-11 .) It is necessary to give our lives to Christ to experience His death on the cross and suffering and thus be free from sin and thus experience in our hearts the blessings of His resurrection. Tell Jesus, this prayer: "Lord, I join you in your death and put my sins on you, me Lord, I rise with you and experience your life."
not look back fix our eyes on Christ (v.12-14). Do not look back, there's always the temptation to put the earth in the first place in our lives or live only for our selfish feelings, we must detect this deception and to strive in the Lord to go forward, put our eyes on Jesus who is our reward and our ultimate goal.
