Easter Sermon
On the cross Jesus has freed us from sin (Revelation 1:5)
Sin is the main problem of the man who affects not only their spiritual life but also your body, mind and every area of \u200b\u200byour life. As long as the sin we are under condemnation and wrath of God (Romans 1:18), but thank God, Jesus came to deliver us from this evil.
Jesus dying on the cross has taken the place was for us and brought all our sins upon himself so the wrath of God fell upon him so that we may receive mercy. Being fair and innocent Jesus to bear our sins to deliver us from damnation and to receive forgiveness and eternal life (Isaiah 53:4,5). He preferred to suffer so that we do not suffer. This is the main blessing that Christ has given us through his death. Are you a sinner? So why not give your life to Jesus for forgiveness and eternal life which he won on the cross you reach?
On the cross Jesus has made us closer to God (Ephesians 2:13)
Sin also separates us from God and his blessing, but thanks to Christ and his death on the cross are now brought near to God, so much that He has adopted us as sons (Galatians 4:4-5), now we are not just creatures but sons and heirs of the Most High, we have a new position and value for him this truth was announced when, after the death of Jesus, the veil of the temple that divided the holy from the holy place (where was the presence of the Lord) will feature, thus symbolizing that through Christ's death no longer barriers that keep us from God's presence (Matthew 27:50,51). With Jesus you can start a relationship today with God and be considered your child Why do not you fall on him?
On the cross Jesus has freed us from the slavery of the devil (Colossians 1:13)
The sinful man is under the dominion and control of Satan, so it is that human society reflects a high degree of evil, is evident that man is a slave of the devil. But Jesus came to save us from this bondage. With his death on the cross he has stripped the Satanic hosts, because they have removed the control over those who believe in Jesus and surrender their lives to him. Jesus conquered Satan and his demons at the time of his death, because death is the powerful weapon of the devil, but Jesus to conquer death in his resurrection he beat one who had mastered on it, then opened the way for all those who follow him are also free of death and have eternal life (Colossians 1:14, Hebrews 2:14). Today you can enjoy spiritual freedom that Christ offers to do so you must give your life to Jesus to leave the devil's domain and enter the divine realm.
On the cross Jesus has given us eternal life (1 John 5:11-12)
Jesus Christ has given us eternal life. Through his death on the cross to open for us the way to heaven. Now we can have hope and confidence in knowing that after death we face a future of glory next to our God and Savior. Jesus has bought with their blood for we are yours forever (1 Corinthians 6:20), so that wherever he is we're also (John 14:3), so the sky will be our final destination, because we belong to God and we are citizens of his kingdom (Philippians 3:20).
